Well, this adventure is helping me comb through a lot of debris out there on the web. I will include those resources I have found most helpful and have actually used here on this page. This is not only handy for me but horpefully helpful for you as well.
Disclosure: I want to make clear that this is not simply a list of services/products/sites/ebooks/flying monkeys that I am listing so I can make a quick buck as an affiliate. I have come across plenty of sites and blogs that just list a bunch of “resources” in the hopes of making some money. That isn’t the direction I am going here. Although I am an affiliate for some of these, the only resources listed here are what I have actually used and from which I have benefited. 1and1 - This web hosting company is phenomenal. Great pricing, great service, great features and really easy to use. They are the company I use to host this blog and I recommend them wholeheartedly!
Tweet My Blog - This is a useful tool to add your Tweets from twitter to your WordPress blog. It is a free and easy plug-in and also updates your tweets every time you post to your blog. Check it out if you use Twitter and have a WordPress blog. Again this is FREE, friends. They do promote some resources you can purchase if you so desire, but you do not have to buy anything… I haven’t paid a dime and I am using this tool now. It is not a trial version or a scaled-down version… it is full version and free: my kind of web tool! If you want your Tweets to show up on your WP blog then I recommend this plug-in.
Business Blogging Guide - This is an incredible resource website for anyone with a blog, whether it is a personal or business blog. You will find a bunch of great information, helpful tips and even step-by-step instructions to help develop and promote your blog. I especially appreciated the advice on attracting readers to your blog. Not to mention that Wendy Limauge, owner of the Business Blogging Guide, has been incredibly generous and helpful.
